Early support, in the home
Sensory responses, feeding and play routines, early motor milestones, and confidence for parents in those foundational first years.
Paediatric Occupational Therapy
Supporting every child to reach their fullest potential. Personalised occupational therapy for babies and children aged 0–12 years — building confidence, independence and meaningful participation at home, at school and in the community.
01 What we do
For a child, “occupation” is play, learning, routines, friendships and becoming independent. When any of those are hard, our therapists work with your child — and with you — so the skills built in therapy carry into the places that matter most.
Explore all servicesHow your child takes in, responds to and regulates sensory input in everyday environments.
Practical strategies for big feelings, sensory overload, transitions and returning to calm.
Hand strength, dexterity, pencil grasp, scissor skills, fasteners and handwriting development.
Balance, bilateral coordination, motor planning, core strength and whole-body confidence.
Turn-taking, collaborative play, understanding social cues, sharing and building friendships.
Foundational attention, classroom routines and task organisation for a confident school start.
Mealtimes, dressing, sleep hygiene, self-care routines and getting ready out the door.
Empowering children to do more for themselves with genuine pride and self-belief.
02 Who we support
We work with babies and children from birth to 12 years, and with the families, educators and doctors around them.
Sensory responses, feeding and play routines, early motor milestones, and confidence for parents in those foundational first years.
Social interaction, emotional regulation, fine motor skills and group participation skills children need for kindergarten and primary school.
Handwriting, attention, organisation, friendships and daily living skills — supported in-clinic, at home or at school when helpful.

04 The LOTS4KIDS approach
Therapy is playful and motivating for your child, practical for your family, and grounded in clinical evidence.
Your child's interests and motivations guide each session.
Parents are co-creators of the therapy plan, not observers.
Every family is met without judgement, wherever you start.
Engaging activities that children genuinely love and repeat.
Validated assessment tools and proven therapy frameworks.
Working alongside teachers, GPs, paediatricians and allied health.
05 Why families choose LOTS4KIDS
Not a clinic visit that stays in the clinic room. Everything we do is aimed at making your child's day-to-day easier — and yours too.
Individual plans crafted specifically for your child's unique developmental stage, not from generic templates.
The goals that matter most in your home and daily routines are the exact goals we target in therapy.
Children arrive eager and engaged, building confidence through purposeful games they genuinely enjoy.
Grounded in validated paediatric assessment tools, regular progress reviews and modern OT clinical research.
Skills are practised directly where they are needed: at the kitchen table, in the classroom, or on the playground.
Flexible visits to your home, kindergarten, childcare centre or primary school across Northern Melbourne.
We actively partner with teachers, GPs, paediatricians, speech pathologists and support teams.
Led by senior occupational therapists with 11+ years of specialised complex developmental experience.
06 How it works
No complicated forms and no clinical jargon. Tell us about your child and our senior team will guide the process.
Fill in our simple contact form or call us. Tell us a little about your child and what's prompting you to reach out.
We talk through daily challenges, family priorities, funding pathways (NDIS/Medicare) and agree on the right assessment.
Together we set clear, meaningful goals and schedule therapy sessions in clinic, at home, at school or via telehealth.
07 Mobile therapy
Skills stick faster in real environments — with real routines, everyday equipment and the familiar people around them.
Support within natural daily routines: morning dressing, mealtimes, play setups and bedtime calming.
Classroom observation, desk ergonomics, pencil grip, focus strategies and teacher collaboration.
Social participation, group circle time, sensory regulation and educator guidance in early learning.

09 Questions parents ask
If you're unsure whether occupational therapy is right for your child, these are the questions families most often ask first.
View all FAQsA referral is not generally required to access occupational therapy at LOTS4KIDS. Some funding arrangements may require one — such as specific Medicare plans — so we're happy to talk you through what applies to your family.
Waitlist status changes throughout the year depending on demand. Send an enquiry and our team will immediately share current therapist availability and the best next steps for your child.
We support children with autism (ASD), ADHD, global developmental delay, sensory processing challenges, fine and gross motor difficulties, school readiness needs, daily living skills, behavioural challenges and emotional regulation difficulties.
Families may access our services through NDIS self-managed or plan-managed funding, Medicare via applicable GP management plans, private health insurance (extras), or private direct payment.
